Cr (credits) are RozGar24's internal currency. Learn how to earn, spend, and never lose them — and why we built a credit economy instead of a paywall.
Most job platforms lock the useful features behind a paywall: 'boost your application for ₹499', 'see who viewed your profile for ₹999'. RozGar24 took a different path: we issue Cr (credits) for actions that genuinely help you get hired — completing your profile, taking skill tests, referring friends — and you spend Cr on the same features that paywalls usually charge for.
Earn rates: profile completion 50 Cr, verified email 10 Cr, verified phone 15 Cr, first resume upload 30 Cr, each skill test 10 Cr, weekly streak login 5 Cr, successful referral 100 Cr, first successful application 25 Cr. Spend rates: resume score unlock 25 Cr, job application boost 5 Cr, verified-employer direct message 50 Cr, premium badge for 7 days 80 Cr.
Why a credit economy instead of a paywall? Three reasons. First, it aligns incentives — every action that helps you get hired earns you the currency to spend on more applications. Second, it's fair to first-time users — a complete profile + 5 skill tests earns you enough Cr for 10 boosted applications, no money down. Third, it never expires. Cr roll over forever, so the work you put in early keeps paying off.
The math: if you complete your profile (50), verify email + phone (25), upload a resume (30), take 5 skill tests (50), and refer a friend (100), you've earned 255 Cr in your first week. That covers 10 boosted applications (50 Cr), resume score unlock (25 Cr), and 3 premium badges (240 Cr total over 3 weeks). You're net positive and visible to employers.
Anti-abuse measures: Cr earned through fake referrals or skill-test cheating are reversible. We run automated pattern detection on accounts that gain Cr faster than the platform's median — outliers get a manual review. We don't take Cr away from legitimate users, ever, even if you stop using the platform for a year.
For employers and institutes the model is different: they pay per verified hire or per verified internship completion, not in Cr. That keeps the seeker side truly free — the people who can least afford a paywall are never charged one.
Bottom line: Cr are a tool, not a goal. Spend them on the actions that move your job search forward, not on vanity badges. RozGar24's analytics dashboard shows you exactly which Cr-spent actions led to interview callbacks, so you can tune your strategy over time.
