1. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email, phone, password (hashed)
- Profile data: education, experience, skills, projects, portfolio links, resume
- Activity data: jobs viewed, jobs applied to, messages, search history
- Device data: IP, browser, OS, locale, app version
- Payment data: handled exclusively by Razorpay; we never store card numbers

2. How we use your data
To provide the Service, match you with jobs, internships, and candidates; prevent fraud; send notifications; and improve the platform. We never sell your personal data to third parties.
Aggregate, fully-anonymised signals (e.g. which skills are in demand in a given district) may inform our matching algorithm, but they contain no personally identifiable information.
3. Sharing
We share data only with: (a) employers or institutes you've applied to; (b) service providers (hosting, email, payments) under contract; and (c) law enforcement when legally required.
We never sell your data
No data brokers, no ad networks, no “anonymised” resale. The full sub-processor list is below — every partner is contractually bound to use your data only to provide the service you signed up for.
4. Your rights (DPDP)
You may request access, correction, erasure, or portability of your data, or withdraw consent at any time. Contact privacy@rozgar24.com.
- Right to access — download everything we hold on you

- Right to erasure — delete your account and personal data
- Right to portability — export your data in a standard format
- Right to withdraw consent — opt out of any optional processing
- Right to grievance — escalate unresolved issues to our Grievance Officer
5. Data retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active plus 24 months for fraud prevention and legal compliance. You may request earlier deletion.
6. Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest, strict access controls, regular penetration tests, and 24×7 monitoring.
How we protect you
Argon2-hashed passwords, optional two-factor authentication, device-bound sessions, anomaly detection on every login, and a 24×7 security on-call rotation. Pen tests run quarterly by a third-party firm.
7. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has signed up, contact privacy@rozgar24.com and we will delete the account within 7 days.
8. International transfers
Some of our service providers may process data outside India. We ensure such transfers are subject to appropriate safeguards.
9. Grievance officer
Per DPDP Act requirements: Grievance Officer, RozGar24, Palitana, Gujarat 364270, India. Email grievance@rozgar24.com. We respond within 15 business days per DPDP timelines.
Unresolved after 15 days?
You may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India per DPDP Act Section 33. We will cooperate fully with any inquiry.
